BIO
Born London 1955, Lesley Redgate emigrated to South Australia in 1967. She completed her Advanced Diploma of Teaching (Fine Art) at the SA School of Art Stanley Street and Uni SA in 1976 after which she began her career as artist and educator.
Winner of the Thomas Laird Memorial Traveling Art Study Award led her to overseas travel in 1994 and 1997. She is represented by the Victorian National Gallery as recipient of the Michell Endowment Award. Lesley works as a Visual Artist and conducts private tuition from her studio in Willunga SA.
